PAYOUTS FOR EACH TOUR
The PAG Tour uses $6.00 from each round played for the whole year to create
year-end purse. Each Flight will pay the same. In the case of a tie in the final standings, we will go back and
find out which player had the most firsts and seconds, and so on. Example: If two players tie, and Player A had two 4th place
finishes, and Player B had only one 4th and one 5th as his highest scores for the season, then Player A would take the spot
for year-end results, dropping Player B back one spot. |

The B, C, & D Flights, Seniors (50 +) and Ladies will play from 6,000 - 6200 yards. Then these players
handicaps will be determined from these yardages with the PAG Tour Handicap System of keeping
players best 5 scores playing in these tournaments, giving them their PAG Tour Handicap.
B
FLIGHT HANDICAP
If a B player has a handicap of (9 or 81 shots) or less, from 6,000 to 6,200 yardage,
they must ADD however many shots under the lowest allowed (10 or 82 shots) to their score each
tournament. Example: player has a 6 handicap from the B Flight Yardage, he must add 4 shots to his score each tournament. If
they have a 8 handicap they must add 2 shots at each tournament, etc.. If a B Flight player gets to a 5 handicap they
must move to the A Flight. A Flight Players can not move back to the B Flight until they have
a handicap of (13 or 85 shots) from the A Flight yardage. We know the difference in the distance
can make a big difference in handicaps. So this is how we will handle this if it comes up. Thanks

2010 THE AA & A FLIGHTS WILL PLAY FROM 6400 - 6600 YARDS, GIVE OR TAKE A FEW. THE B, C, & D FLIGHTS WILL ALL PLAY
FROM 6000-6200 YARDS. SENIORS (50 & UP) AND LADIES WILL ALSO PLAY FROM
THE 6000 - 6200 YARDAGE, THEN THEY WILL BE KEPT IN THE CORRECT FLIGHT BY THEIR HANDICAP THEY ACHIEVE WITH THE PAG TOUR
HANDICAP SYSTEM FROM THIS YARDAGE. WE WILL ADJUST EACH COURSE TO THESE YARDAGES. THIS WILL ALLOW THE B, C, AND D PLAYERS TO
HIT THE GREEN IN REGULATION MORE OFTEN AND PUTT FOR MORE BIRDIES AND EAGLES, JUST LIKE THE PROS.

IT FAIR FOR ALL PLAYER TO WIN THEIR FLIGHT. IF IT NEVER SEEMS LIKE YOU HAVE A CHANCE TO WIN IN
THE TOURNAMENTS YOU CURRENTLY PLAY IN,
THEN YOU NEED TO GIVE THIS TOUR A TRY. WE KEEP IT FAIR FOR ALL PLAYERS TO WIN IN THEIR FLIGHT. WE HAVE THE FAIREST HANDICAP
SYSTEM, TO MAKE SURE EACH PLAYER HAS A CHANCE TO WIN THEIR FLIGHT AGAINST PLAYERS WITH THE SAME ABILITY. LOOK AT OUR
POINTS STANDINGS FOR THE 2008 & 2009 SEASONS AND SEE HOW CLOSELY BUNCHED OUR PLAYERS HANDICAPS ARE. (Tournament Standings Page) WE USE ONLY THE SCORES YOU SHOOT ON THE PAG TOUR TO CREATE YOUR PAG TOUR HANDICAP,
TO KEEP PLAYERS IN THEIR CORRECT FLIGHT. THIS PROTECTS AGAINST SANDBAGGING OR PADDING OF HANDICAPS. IN 2009 WE WILL EVALUATE NEW PLAYERS FOR THEIR
FIRST 3 TOURNAMENTS TO SEE IF THEY ARE IN THE CORRECT FLIGHT. THEN WE AVERAGE EACH PLAYERS BEST 5 SCORES. 2 DAY
SCORES WILL COUNT EACH DAY AS ONE OF YOUR 5 SCORES. THIS TOUR KEEPS PLAYERS IN THEIR CORRECT FLIGHT. WE WILL FREEZE EACH PLAYERS
HANDICAP FOR LAST 3 TOURMANMENTS, BUT AFTER EACH TOUR ENDS A PLAYER SHOULD MOVE UP IN FLIGHT, THEY WILL BE MOVED AT THAT TIME,
AND MUST START THE NEXT TOUR IN THEIR NEW FLIGHT. WE FEEL IF YOU SHOOT A SCORE 5 TIMES YOU CAN ALWAYS SHOOT THAT AVERAGE
SCORE AGAIN. EVERY GOLFER HAS A BAD ROUND ONCE IN A WHILE, BUT THAT DON'T MEAN HE SHOULD BE ABLE TO COUNT THESE ROUNDS FOR
THEIR AVERAGE, THEN BE ALLOWED TO STAY OR GO IN THE EASIER FLIGHT. THAT ALLOWS FOR PADDING YOUR HANDICAP.
WE ARE THE ONLY TOUR WHO DOES THIS TO KEEP IT FAIR FOR ALL. COMPARE US TO ANY OTHER TOUR AND SEE THE DIFFERENCE. SWING ON

THAT AVERAGE ALL OF THE PLAYERS SCORES TO PROVIDE THE PLAYERS HANDICAP CAN BE PADDED WHEN A PLAYER IS PLAYING BAD AND TURNS
IN A 95 WHEN THEY HAVE SHOT BETWEEN 78 - 81 IN 5 OTHER ROUNDS. TOURS THAT USE HANDICAP ADJUSTMENTS AFTER PLAYING HAVE
TO BIG OF A SPREAD IN EACH FLIGHT GIVING AN ADVANTAGE TO THE HIGH HANDICAP GOLFERS. (See Rules for more) How Championship Points Race Works To Win Your Flight

POINTS:
Players will earn points at each tournament by how they place in their flight. Each
flight will have its own championship race. If you tie, you will receive the same amount as the players you tied. Except first
place. Example: A player shoots an 85 and so do you - you finish tied for third at 75 points, so you both receive 75
points. If there is a tie for first place, the win will be decided by the #1 handicap hole on the course. Then, on #2, if
still tied, and #3, and so on. Then the player who wins the tie receives the 100 points, with the others receiving second
place points by themselves. |
The Points will be awarded as follows, plus a 10 point show up bonus for each tournament you
play. This will never be dropped off your points total when we throw away your worst rounds. In 2010 we will count each players
best 5 one day rounds and 1 two day round, to determine the flight champions for both the Spring and Fall Tour. This allows
players to miss a few and still get all their rounds in for championship points race.
